When 4,500 petroleum geologists convene in Salt Lake City on Sunday May 11, the University of Utah Energy & Geosciences Institute (EGI) will celebrate the 30th anniversary of its origin, and then help host the convention.
Read MorePainting, printmaking, sculpture, photography and other forms of art will be exhibited and up for sale at the University of Utah’s upcoming 2003 Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) Art Show. Scheduled to run from May 16 through June 14, the exhibit will be held at Artspace Forum Gallery, 511 West 200 South, in downtown Salt Lake City. The show, comprised of 50 pieces and curated by Ephraim Puusemp, displays works representative of the 2003 graduating class of the University of Utah’s art program. Artspace is open Wednesday through Saturday, from noon until 5 p.m. There is no cost for admission.
