Despite National Trend, Salt Lake Valley Residents Prefer Single-Family Neighborhoods

The study was published Dec. 8 by the journal Housing Policy Debate.

University of Utah students create “Coziest Pants in the World”

How about the “coziest pants in the world?” A pair of University of Utah students has launched a line of uniquely designed pants — dubbed Sakpants — through a university-sponsored entrepreneurship program and completing a crowdsource funding campaign to raise capital for their business endeavor.

University of Utah Breaks Ground on Lassonde Studios Building

The University of Utah’s Lassonde Entrepreneur Institute is one step closer to becoming an international destination for student entrepreneurs, innovators and “makers” today as it breaks ground on the Lassonde Studios. The five-floor, 148,000-square-foot building will merge more than 400 student residences with a 20,000-square-foot “garage” open for any student to attend events, build prototypes, launch companies and more.

Deadline Extended for Largest Community Solar Program in Utah
