The University of Utah announced yesterday recipients of the 2005 Diversity Awards. Five awards were presented at the tenth annual Diversity Awards luncheon. The awards are given each year to outstanding individuals or organizations that demonstrate an active commitment to promoting and enhancing diversity at the University of Utah.

Ogburn comes to Utah from the University of Washington where she was Associate Director of the Libraries, Resources and Collection Management Services (RCMS). Professor Cushing is survived by his wife of 38 years, Cherry Lee Barker, and their four children, Dennis, Becky, Christy and Andy. He received a B.A. degree in 1966 (with high honor) and his Ph. D. in Accounting in March of 1969, both from Michigan State University.
