Data and School Improvement Academy to Analyze School and District’s Needs

Public schools and districts are under increasing pressure and responsibility from state and federal agencies to account for student performance. The wealth of data from assessments of student achievement as well as information available from other evaluations of student and school performance can create a divide between what is currently being done and what needs to be done to improve student performance, schools, and districts. The expanding nature of data accessibility and locally generated data requires school and district leaders and teachers to analyze and interpret multiple forms of data that result in substantive changes.

U of U to Host International Service-Learning Conference this Week

The University of Utah, the U’s Lowell Bennion Community Service Center and RMC Research Corporation will host the Third Annual International Conference in Advances in Service-Learning Research this Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 6th through 8th, at the Sheraton City Center, 150 W. 500 S., in downtown Salt Lake City. MBA Students Learn the Importance of Lending a Hand

The business leaders of tomorrow are rolling up their sleeves for kids with physical and developmental challenges who need help now. On Friday, August 15 approximately 55 new MBA students from the David Eccles School of Business at the University of Utah will spend their day performing a community service project for Camp Kostopulos. Students will be staining the Camp Kostopulos dock and pavillion, sanding and painting picnic tables, and netting and raking the camp’s pond. Work will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at about 2:30 p.m.

David Eccles School of Business Executive MBA Program Ranks 34 in the U.S. and 80 in the World by the Financial Times

For the fourth year in a row, the Financial Times has ranked the David Eccles School of Business (DESB) Executive MBA program among the top programs in the world. According to the report, being published in the Oct. 27 issue, the David Eccles School of Business Executive MBA program was ranked 34 in the United States and 80 in the world. Faculty research output was ranked 22 in the U.S.
