Oct. 12, 2004 — Join us for a spooktacular evening of musical tricks and treats as the University of Utah Philharmonia chamber orchestra presents “The Haunted Orchestra Halloween Concert: Creepy Tales” Thursday, October 28, 2004 at 7:30 p.m. Libby Gardner Hall.
The concert will feature a spirited selection of music from the films Spiderman and The Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as works from Hansel and Gretel, The Phantom of the Opera, and Mozart’s opera Don Giovanni. Ghost-we mean guest soloists from the Utah Lyric Opera Ensemble will also perform. The not-too-spooky program is sure to delight the whole family. Halloween Orchestra members will be frightfully attired in costumes and the audience is encouraged to arrive in similarly creepy fashions.
Admission is $7.00 for adults and $3.00 for students and children, plus a small ticket handling charge. Tickets may be purchased from Artix.com, at the door, or by calling Kingsbury Hall ticket office at (801) 581-7100.
