The Outdoor Recreation Program is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year. A division of Campus Recreation Services and one of the oldest programs of its kind in the western United States, it was formally established in 1976 from a student organized group known as the Ute Alpine Club. The ORP has expanded over the years and now offers learning programs, seminars, trips and equipment rentals.

The ORP services and programs are available to all students, faculty, staff, alumni of the University of Utah, and members of the general public.
