DEBRA DANIELS, director of the Women’s Resource Center, has been named a recipient of the Inclusion Center for Community and Justice’s 44th Humanitarian Award. A native of Ogden, Utah, Daniels received her BSW from Utah State University in 1979 and a master’s degree in social work from the University of Utah in 1984. Daniels is a licensed clinical social worker with expertise in issues dealing with sexual assault, domestic violence, diversity and social justice. In addition she runs a private business, Umoja, that provides training and education on diversity, social justice and healthy relationships for businesses and organizations in the Salt Lake City community. Daniels and two other award recipients will be recognized at a ceremony on March 24, 2011, at the Grand America in Salt Lake City. (Dated: 03/10/2011)
