Peterson teaches contracts, commercial law and consumer protection at the University of Utah. He has served in Washington, DC as judicial clerk for the Honorable Wade Brorby on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Tenth Circuit. and as a consumer rights attorney for the United States Public Interest Research Group. He has lectured and published widely on consumer protections and credit policy.
