October 3, 2003 –The University of Utah kicks off Homecoming week on Monday with the traditional Greek house-decorating contest. Fraternities and sororities will compete with signs, slogans and displays which show-off their school spirit. The week’s activities all lead up to the big game at 5 p.m. Sat., October 11 when the Utes take on San Diego State.

There is a new event this year for anyone who likes to golf. The U of U Golf Course is hosting a “3 Club” tournament open to everyone. It’s just $6 per person to enter. Each golfer must pick just three clubs from his bag to use for the entire nine-hole round. Prizes include Ute merchandise such as stadium blankets and putters proudly displaying a U of U logo.
