Commencement ceremonies at the University of Utah will be held on Friday, May 4, at 9 a.m. in the Jon M. Huntsman Center. The class of 2007, comprised of 7,166 graduates, will receive degrees that morning. This April, the University of Utah’s College of Social Work celebrates its expanding horizons at the groundbreaking for its new Wilford W. and Dorothy P. Goodwill Humanitarian Building. U OF U FINE ARTS STUDENTS & NEIGHBORHOOD HOUSE CHILDREN UNITE IN MUSIC, DANCE AND DRAMA

The University of Utah Fine Arts Auditorium will fill with laughter, music, and movement as children who attend Neighborhood House perform the original production “Neighborhood Jungle Pie” on April 25th at 6:30 p.m. The performance is the culmination of a partnership between University students enrolled in the Fine Arts LEAP, “Learning, Engagement, Achievement, and Progress” program, and children from Neighborhood House, a Salt Lake City daycare facility for financially disadvantaged children.
