Auto-Pedestrian Accident on U of U Campus

An accident involving a van and several pedestrians occurred on the University of Utah campus today at 8:10 a.m. A van traveling eastbound on South Campus Drive struck a group of pedestrians who were headed south in the crosswalk. The pedestrians – three U students and one instructor – were transported to local hospitals and are listed in fair to good condition. All four were able to give their names and other information to the University police on the scene. The U Police are investigating the cause of the accident and should have their report later today. Ute Coach Urban Meyer to Give Students Pep Talk Before Annual Rivalry Game with BYU

It has come down to this! The Ute football team and first year coach Urban Meyer win their last game of the year against BYU and they take the Mountain West Conference crown-lose and they could share the title with New Mexico. With that much on the line, Coach Meyer and his players will rally fans on the steps of the Park Building at noon Friday, Nov. 21. The Utes play Brigham Young University the following day.
